Varian medical systems has issued an information concerning the C-Series Clinac when performing mechanical motions within the room using the hand pendant. When the operator attempts to use the hand pendant to position any part of the Clinac all of the motin axes may begin to move at full speed unexpectedly. In case of unexpected engine movements the hand pendant and its cable are not to be used any longer.
