Elekta has issued a Field Safety Notice concerning a problem with Dynamic Conformal XiO RFC 33941. When Dynamic Conformal Arc treatments (DCAT) are planned with the Beam Modulator, the closed leaves remain inside the open treatment area. When the closed leaf gap (Minimum Leaf Separation) is set to 0 mm on XiO, and the accelerator is set to a value other then 0 mm, XiO will underestimate the dose delivered.
