Elekta has issued a field safety notice concerning shifted Dose for XiO Proton Spot Beams. Mass densities, as seen by the Proton Spot algorithm, are shifted by one CT slice thickness in the superior direction. The resulting doses are therefore calculated on a shifted grid.
