Hitachi Medical Systems has issued a Safety Notice for the Ultrasound systems EUB-5500, EUB-6500HV, EUB-7500, EUB-8500 and HI Vision 900. The manufacturer became aware of an software bug in the Doppler measurement of the “Carotid Artery” subprogramm page in the factory settings. A software update is planned.
