Siemens has issued a Field Safety Notice concerning the potential overheating of the 4Z1c matrix array transducer on the ACUSON SC2000 ultrasound system. If transducers show a blister on its front or become unusually warm during operation, their use should be discontinued immediately.Transducers with a serial number of 025xxxxx and below are affected.
