Pfizer informs about a precautionary recall of all strengths and pack sizes of the medicinal product Accupro at pharmacy level, as investigations have identified nitrosamine contamination. The recall will result in shortages of Accupro. At this time, no information can be given as to when the medicine will be available again. The investigations took place as part of the European risk assessment initiated by the authorities and the EMA.
