Chlorhexidine: Anaphylactic reactions

Active substance: chlorhexidine

The widely used antiseptic agent chlorhexidine can lead to severe hypersensitivity reactions. In light of recent case reports the BfArM is issuing a reminder with regard to this life-threatening side effect.
